We supply a number of cladding options;
Luxury Western Red Cedar, a soft red-brown timber with tight, straight grain and few knots. It is valued for its distinct appearance, aroma, and its high natural resistance to decay, being extensively used for outdoor construction and boat building. Over time cedar will weather to a silver-grey.
Accoya® is the world-leading, high performance and sustainable wood product, a softwood but with all the key qualities associated with hardwood, and even surpassing many hardwood characteristics, Accoya comes in a number of finishes and can be painted or stained to a colour of your choice.
Tricoya® wood products open up unprecedented solutions in design and application, this MDF product is unrivalled in performance with a long lifespan and low ongoing maintenance. Tricoya is immensely customisable and is suited to the most extreme of environments.
Thermowood – a heat-treated timber, It’s a beautiful, sustainable timber material produced using chemical-free heat treatment. Thermowood, therefore, doesn’t react to changes in humidity as drastically as untreated wood, allowing it to retain its shape far better. The wood also doesn’t secrete sap or resin. It can be painted or stained to a colour of your choice.
uPVC Composite has a premium embossed wood grain finish. It is beautifully weatherproof and incredibly resilient, it has minimal contraction or expansion and is largely maintenance-free. Being sustainably sourced it is also 100% recyclable. Available in 6 colours.
There are 4 roofing options to choose from;
Firestone EDPM rubber roof, the incredibly durable and weatherproof rubber roof that comes with a 25-year guarantee.
Insulated Corrugated Roof – this gives a different look to your studio and comes in a wide range of colours too. A thick layer of insulation is contained by a steel metal inner and outer so you can ensure that this roof is extremely durable and weatherproof
Sedum Green roof; Sedum plants are grown on a coir mat which is then installed onto 100mm of biodiverse roofing material to ensure insulation and weatherproofing.
Native Wildflower Green roof; a lightweight extensive biodiverse green roof vegetation blanket providing instant greening of a roof with a mixture of 36 species of wildflowers. The blanket is installed on 100mm of a biodiverse material.
Exterior lighting really makes a Garden studio come to life in the evening. Each of our studios is supplied with Up / Downlighters on either side of the main doors. Exterior spotlights, LED strips, decking, and canopy lights are all available at extra cost.
